UL 3321 XLPE Wire

UL 3321 XLPE Wire (150°C / 600V) for High Temperature Internal Wiring

UL 3321 wire is an XLPE insulated AWM wire designed for internal wiring applications where higher temperature performance and a stronger electrical profile are required. Compared with standard internal wiring styles, UL3321 is often selected for equipment sections that operate under more demanding thermal conditions or where a more capable 600V construction is preferred.

This style is commonly reviewed for internal wiring in industrial equipment, control systems, power assemblies, and other electrical products where ordinary low-duty hook-up wire may not be the best long-term choice. With XLPE insulation and a 150°C rating, UL3321 offers a practical option for projects that need a more durable internal wire profile without moving into a completely different product family.

Buyers often consider UL3321 when the internal lead path is exposed to elevated temperature, when the electrical environment is more demanding, or when a stronger insulation structure is preferred for OEM production. It is especially useful in equipment where internal wiring must remain stable over time while still fitting the routing and installation requirements of the assembly.

When sourcing UL3321 wire, buyers usually confirm conductor size, conductor finish, insulation color, package format, and the actual application environment. For OEM projects, it is also common to review operating conditions, expected routing path, and order quantity before quotation.

If the project requires a lower-temperature XLPE internal wire, UL3271 may be suitable. If fluoroplastic insulation is preferred, UL1332 or UL10362 may be more relevant depending on the environment. UL3321 is more appropriate when the buyer needs a 150°C XLPE internal wire for high temperature wiring in industrial or electrical equipment.
