AWM Wire
AWM wire — Appliance Wiring Material — is the UL designation for internal wiring used inside electrical appliances, industrial equipment, and electronic apparatus. AWM wire is not a single product but a family of over 200 UL-recognised styles, each specifying a unique combination of insulation material, temperature rating, voltage rating, conductor construction, and flame performance that the wire must meet to carry the AWM Style designation.
