UL1332 FEP Wire
UL 1332 is an FEP (fluorinated ethylene propylene) insulated wire rated 200°C and 300V AC under UL AWM Style 1332, supplied as a UL Recognized Component — file on record. FEP is a melt-processable fluoropolymer that can be extruded using standard continuous extrusion equipment, producing a smooth, glossy insulation surface with good release properties. It offers fluoropolymer chemical and thermal characteristics in a melt-extruded construction.
UL 1332 is commonly selected for 200°C / 300V internal wiring where FEP insulation, a smooth surface, and fluoropolymer material characteristics are required, but the 600V rating and higher temperature of PTFE (UL 1659) are not needed by the application. It is a lower-cost entry point among the fluoropolymer styles. For 600V applications or higher temperatures, see UL 1659 PTFE wire (PTFE, 250°C, 600V). UL 1332 is available in 30 AWG to 10 AWG, with optional oil-resistant or gasoline-resistant markings when specified and confirmed. RoHS and REACH documentation is available on request.
