PVC Insulated Wire
PVC insulated AWM wire covers the broadest range of general-purpose internal wiring applications in the UL AWM wire family. All styles in this group use polyvinyl chloride (PVC) as the insulation material — a thermoplastic insulation that offers cost-effective electrical insulation and adequate thermal performance for the majority of standard appliance and industrial equipment internal wiring across the 300V to 1000V range.
CableApex supplies PVC insulated AWM wire as a UL Recognized Component — file on record — covering four styles with different voltage ratings and wall-thickness specifications to match the application’s circuit voltage, ambient temperature, and routing requirements. All four comply with RoHS and REACH, carry the flame rating specified in each style’s listing, and are available in the AWG ranges according to each UL style, with tinned or bare copper conductor.
| UL Style | Voltage | Temperature | Primary application |
|---|---|---|---|
| UL 1007 | 300V AC | 80°C | General internal wiring, appliance leads, harness assemblies |
| UL 1015 | 600V AC | up to 105°C | Power feeds, motor leads, control panel internal wiring |
| UL 1569 | 300V AC | up to 105°C | Thin-wall compact routing, appliance internal wiring |
| UL 10269 | 1000V AC | up to 105°C | Higher-voltage PVC internal wiring; optional oil-resistant grades available |
To request a quotation, send the UL style number, AWG size, voltage, temperature, colour, quantity, and a brief description of the application. Quotations are returned within 24 hours, and mixed-style or mixed-AWG orders are accepted on a single shipment.
