UL3135 Silicone Wire

UL 3135 is a silicone rubber insulated wire rated 200°C and 600V AC under UL AWM Style 3135, supplied as a UL Recognized Component — file on record. It is a common high-temperature AWM wire style for internal wiring in enclosed electrical equipment operating at elevated temperatures, and is commonly selected where the operating temperature and flexibility requirements exceed many PVC or XLPE internal wiring options.

UL 3135 uses bare silicone rubber insulation without an outer fiberglass braid. Silicone rubber remains elastic and non-brittle across its rated range and stays flexible down to −60°C, making it suitable for both high-temperature and low-temperature environments, with a 200°C continuous rating under UL AWM Style 3135. The bare silicone construction is specified for enclosed routing where an additional braided outer covering is not required. For applications requiring mechanical protection at routing contact points, see UL 3172 (600V, glass or aramid braid) or UL 3071 (600V, glass braid, 18–13 AWG). Available in 26 AWG to 12 AWG; RoHS and REACH documentation is available on request.
