Where UL 1032 Fits Among PVC Hook-Up Wire Styles

The defining feature of UL 1032 is its voltage rating. Standard PVC hook-up wire styles such as UL 1015 stop at 600 Vac, and UL 1007 at 300 Vac. UL 1032 extends PVC insulation to 1000 Vac and 1200 Vdc — the DC rating is particularly relevant for internal DC bus and power-conversion circuits inside modern appliances.
