UL 1015 PVC Wire

UL 1015 is a PVC-insulated hook-up wire rated up to 105°C and 600V AC under UL AWM Style 1015, supplied as a UL Recognized Component — file on record. It is the standard AWM wire specification for internal wiring in industrial control equipment, motor lead connections, and control panel power distribution where a higher voltage (600V) or higher temperature (up to 105°C) than UL 1007 is required. The combination of 600V and 105°C covers the majority of low-voltage industrial power circuit internal wiring requirements, including motor terminal connections and control panel power feeds.

UL 1015 is listed from 30 AWG to 2000 kcmil per UL Subject 758, with a common supply range of 30 AWG to 4/0 AWG in tinned or bare copper, solid or stranded. Tags may also indicate 2,500V peak for electronic use only. For better thermal performance than PVC at an equivalent price point, see UL 3666 XLPE wire (105°C, non-softening XLPE insulation). For 600V motor leads in higher-ambient environments, see UL 3266 XLPE wire (125°C). All products in this category comply with RoHS and REACH.
