UL 1015 14 AWG Wire — Red / Black Pair — 600V AC / 105°C / PVC
UL AWM Style 1015 is a single-conductor PVC insulated wire rated at 80°C, 90°C, or 105°C and 600V AC (750V DC) under UL Subject 758. At 14 AWG (2.08 mm² nominal, 41/0.254 mm stranded tinned copper), it is available as a red/black colour pair for internal wiring applications requiring polarity identification between positive and negative conductors. The permitted use is internal wiring of appliances.
For the full UL 1015 AWG range and other colour options, see the UL 1015 category page. For 300V PVC internal wiring, see UL 1007.

Typical Applications
UL 1015 14 AWG is used for internal wiring of appliances where 600V-rated PVC wire is required. The red/black colour pair is commonly specified where polarity identification between two conductors is required within the appliance internal wiring. Typical applications include:
- Internal DC power leads within appliance enclosures where polarity identification is required
- Internal power supply lead connections at 600V within appliance assemblies
- Control panel internal wiring at 600V in UL 508A listed panels
- Motor lead connections in appliances at 600V / 105°C
Confirm that your application falls within the UL 1015 permitted use — internal wiring of appliances — before specifying. For external wiring or field wiring applications, a different wire type is required.
