A multi-core silicone rubber cable is built from two or more individually insulated silicone conductors, cabled together according to the buyer’s project requirement. Required core count is not fixed by any single specification and is confirmed during quotation — this page does not present preset 2-core, 3-core, 4-core, or other fixed configurations. Similarly, the supplied UL Style 3135 record does not define an overall cable structure: it does not establish an overall sheath, silicone outer jacket, fillers, binder tape, braided covering, or shield for a multi-conductor assembly. If your project requires an overall jacket, filler, braid, shield, or other assembly element, this is confirmed according to the ordered cable specification rather than assumed as a standard feature.

UL 3135 200°C 600V Core Wire Options

26–12 AWG Solid or Stranded Core Range

Where qualifying UL AWM Style 3135 core wires are specified for the assembly, the Style covers a conductor range of 26 AWG through 12 AWG, solid or stranded. This range applies to the individual UL 3135 core option — it does not by itself define the range of every custom core that might be used in a multi-core assembly outside the Style. Conductor material and finish are not established by the Style record and are confirmed according to your ordered specification.

Silicone Rubber Insulation Construction

Qualifying UL 3135 core wires use extruded silicone rubber insulation, applied at a minimum average thickness of 30 mils and a minimum thickness of 27 mils at any point, rated 200°C and 600 Vac, with a Horizontal Flame rating. These ratings and this flame requirement apply to the qualifying individual core wire specifically. We do not describe the completed multi-core assembly as super-flexible, ultra-flexible, continuous-flex, or suitable for drag-chain or robotic applications, as no such data is established by the Style-level record — silicone rubber is described here only as a material, not as a quantified flexibility claim.

Individual UL Core Recognition vs Complete Cable Assembly

This distinction matters for both procurement and compliance. UL AWM Style 3135 is a single-conductor construction — it is not a multiple-conductor UL Style. A multi-core cable assembled using qualifying UL 3135 core wires is not, by that fact alone, a “UL 3135 multi-core cable” or a “UL-certified multi-core assembly.” The UL recognition and the 200°C / 600 Vac rating belong to each qualifying individual core wire. The completed multi-core cable’s applicable rating, marking, and documentation depend on the final ordered assembly construction as a whole, and should be confirmed separately from the core-wire specification.

Qualifying UL AWM Style 3135 core wires can be supplied through the relevant partner manufacturing scope associated with the applicable UL Recognized Component file on record. UL marking and related documentation depend on the specific qualified core construction ordered, and — as noted above — do not automatically extend to the completed multi-core assembly. Not every configuration automatically carries a UL Mark, and marking requirements should be confirmed when requesting a quotation. RoHS and REACH are separate regulatory frameworks from UL recognition; applicable RoHS / REACH documentation requirements can be confirmed according to the ordered construction.
