UL 1015 PVC Wire

UL 1015 PVC Wire (105°C / 600V) for Internal Wiring

UL 1015 wire is a PVC insulated AWM wire widely used for internal wiring in electrical equipment, appliances, control panels, and general OEM assemblies. With a 105°C temperature rating and 600V profile, UL1015 is commonly selected for internal leads where buyers need a practical and widely recognized hook-up wire for structured equipment wiring.

Compared with lower-voltage internal wire styles, UL1015 is often preferred in equipment sections where a 600V construction is more appropriate for the application. It is widely used in internal electrical assemblies because it offers a familiar combination of manageable routing, standard PVC insulation, and broad applicability across many types of equipment.

Buyers often choose UL1015 for control panels, appliances, power-related sections, general electrical equipment, and OEM internal lead routing. It is particularly useful in projects where the application does not require silicone, fluoroplastic, or XLPE insulation, but still benefits from a dependable 600V internal wire.

When sourcing UL1015 wire, buyers usually confirm conductor size, conductor finish, insulation color, package format, and the actual equipment application. For OEM projects, it is also common to review whether the wire is used for fixed internal routing, grouped leads, or general internal wiring before quotation.

If the application requires a smaller and lighter-duty internal wire, UL1007 may be suitable. If the project requires higher-temperature or specialty insulation, other AWM wire styles may be more appropriate. UL1015 is more suitable when the buyer wants a standard 105°C / 600V PVC internal wire for practical equipment and OEM use.
