UL 5359 Mica Wire
UL 5359 is a mica tape insulated multi-conductor wire rated 200°C and 600V AC under UL AWM Style 5359, produced under UL Follow-Up Service File No. E333030. UL 5359 is the lower-temperature mica tape wire style in the CableApex mica range — rated at 200°C rather than the 450°C of UL 5107, 5128, 5334, 5335, and 5476 — and is specifically constructed as a multi-conductor wire where multiple insulated conductors are assembled within a common mica tape and glass braid outer construction.
The multi-conductor construction of UL 5359 serves applications where two or more circuits must be routed together through a high-temperature zone — such as heating element power and temperature sensor circuits running together from the equipment control panel to the heated zone — in a single, mechanically protected assembly rather than as separate wires. The 200°C rating covers standard industrial oven and process heater temperatures while the mica insulation provides the mineral-based insulation integrity that polymer insulation cannot sustain at this temperature class over a long equipment service life. For single-conductor 200°C mica wire, see UL 5360. All products comply with RoHS and REACH.
