UL 1911 50,000V High Voltage Wire for UAE and Saudi Arabia
UL 1911 is a high voltage wire rated up to 50,000V DC under UL AWM Style 1911, produced under File No. E333030. Unlike the silicone rubber high voltage AWM styles (UL 3239, UL 3304, UL 3573) which are rated for high temperature applications, UL 1911 uses a PVC-based insulation system and is primarily specified for ambient-temperature high voltage DC internal wiring applications — particularly in gas appliance electronic ignition systems where the ignition circuit voltage exceeds 15,000V DC and the silicone ignition wire grades (UL 3304/3573, rated to 10,000V AC) are insufficient for the peak voltage of the ignition pulse.
UL 1911 covers the voltage gap between standard AWM ignition wire (10,000V AC, UL 3304/3573) and very high voltage silicone wire (UL 3239, 3kV–100kV DC) — filling the specification need for ignition and HV lead applications where the voltage is in the 15,000–50,000V DC range and the ambient temperature at the wire is within PVC insulation limits.
