Super Flexible Silicone Rubber High Temperature Wire (10AWG–30AWG)
CableApex’s super flexible silicone rubber high temperature wire is engineered for applications where both extreme heat resistance and outstanding flexibility are required simultaneously. Unlike standard silicone wires, this series uses an ultra-high strand count tinned copper conductor — significantly more strands per cross-section than conventional wire — delivering a bend radius and tactile softness that make it the preferred choice for robotics, servo motor wiring, moving machinery, and any installation where the cable must flex repeatedly without fatigue failure.
The silicone rubber insulation maintains its physical and electrical properties across a continuous operating range of –60°C to 200°C, making it equally suited to cryogenic environments and high-heat industrial ovens. It will not crack, harden, or become brittle with age, even after prolonged thermal cycling — a common failure mode in PVC and XLPE alternatives.

Common Applications
Industrial automation & robotics
The ultra-fine strand construction and low bend radius make this wire the standard choice for robot arm internal wiring, servo motor leads, and linear actuator connections where the cable must survive continuous flexing over millions of cycles. It outperforms standard silicone wire in dynamic flex life by a significant margin due to the higher strand count distributing mechanical stress across more individual wires.
Motor & transformer wiring
Rated to 200°C continuous, this wire is widely used for motor lead connections, transformer internal wiring, and coil terminations in applications where proximity to heat-generating windings would degrade conventional PVC insulation within months.
High-temperature equipment
Suitable for internal wiring of industrial ovens, kilns, heat-sealing machines, soldering equipment, and any enclosure where ambient temperatures routinely exceed 105°C — the practical limit of standard PVC wire.
Automotive & EV
Used in battery management system (BMS) wiring, under-hood sensor leads, and EV charging harnesses where combined requirements for heat resistance, chemical resistance, and flexibility rule out standard automotive wire types.
Other applications
- Medical and laboratory equipment internal wiring
- Aerospace and defense wire harnesses
- Lighting fixtures and LED driver connections
- Power supply and inverter internal wiring
- Marine and offshore equipment wiring
Silicone Wire vs. PVC Wire — Why It Matters
| Property | Silicone rubber (this product) | Standard PVC wire |
|---|---|---|
| Max continuous temperature | 200°C | 70°C – 105°C |
| Min temperature | –60°C | –15°C |
| Flexibility at low temp | Remains fully flexible | Becomes stiff and brittle |
| Aging / hardening | No hardening over time | Hardens and cracks with age |
| Chemical resistance | Excellent | Moderate |
| Flame resistance | Self-extinguishing | Varies by grade |
| Flex cycle life | Millions of cycles | Limited |
