Mica Tape and Treated Glass Braid Construction

Each conductor is insulated with mica tape, covered by a treated glass braid finished with silicone varnish or TFE finish according to the qualified construction. This is a mica-and-glass-braid construction — not a silicone rubber, PTFE, FEP, PFA, PVC, or XLPE insulated product. Silicone varnish is a treatment applied to the glass braid, not a silicone rubber primary insulation, and a TFE finish is not the same as a PTFE-insulated conductor. Two or More Conductors Cabled Together

UL Style 5476 permits two or more qualifying conductors to be cabled together, with a maximum overall assembly diameter of 1.500 inches. This 1.500-inch figure is the maximum permitted assembly diameter, not a standard finished O.D. — actual assembly diameter depends on core count, conductor size, and construction, and is confirmed for the ordered configuration.
