Multi-Core PFA High-Temperature Cable — with UL 10362 250°C 600V Core Options for Internal Wiring

Multi-core PFA high-temperature cable assembled from multiple individually PFA-insulated conductors for high-temperature internal wiring. Qualifying UL AWM Style 10362 core options: 250°C, 600 Vac, 30 AWG–4/0 AWG, solid or stranded, extruded PFA insulation. UL recognition applies to qualifying individual core wires, not automatically to the complete multi-core assembly. Core count and overall assembly construction confirmed by order.

Multi-Core PFA High-Temperature Cable Overview

This page covers multi-core PFA high-temperature cable assembled from multiple individually insulated fluoropolymer conductors, supplied by CableApex as a factory-direct manufacturer for high-temperature internal wiring applications. Where the ordered construction calls for it, the individual conductors within the assembly can be supplied as qualifying UL AWM Style 10362 PFA-insulated core wires. This page distinguishes clearly between the qualifying individual core wire and the completed multi-core cable assembly, since UL recognition applies at the single-conductor core level and does not automatically extend to the finished multi-conductor cable.

Core count, conductor material and finish, core identification, and overall assembly construction are confirmed according to your ordered specification.

PFA-Insulated Multi-Conductor Construction

A multi-core PFA high-temperature cable is built from two or more individually insulated fluoropolymer conductors, cabled together according to the buyer’s project requirement. Required core count is not fixed by any single specification and is confirmed during quotation — this page does not present preset 2-core, 3-core, 4-core, or other fixed configurations. The supplied UL Style 10362 record defines the individual single-conductor core wire; it does not establish a universal construction for the complete assembly. It does not define an overall PFA, PTFE, or FEP outer jacket, fiberglass or metallic braid, foil shield, filler, separator, binder tape, or drain wire for a multi-conductor assembly. If your project requires an overall jacket, filler, braid, shield, or other assembly element, this is confirmed according to the ordered cable specification rather than assumed as a standard feature.

30 AWG–4/0 AWG Solid or Stranded Core Range

Where qualifying UL AWM Style 10362 core wires are specified for the assembly, the Style covers a conductor range of 30 AWG through 4/0 AWG, solid or stranded. This range applies to the individual UL 10362 core option — it does not by itself define the range of every custom core that might be used in a multi-core assembly outside the Style. Conductor material and finish are not established by the Style record and are confirmed according to your ordered specification.

Qualifying UL 10362 core wires are rated 250°C and 600 Vac, with a Horizontal Flame rating. These ratings and this flame requirement apply to the qualifying individual core wire specifically. We do not describe the completed multi-core assembly as flexible, high-flex, extra-flexible, or drag-chain/robotics-suitable, as no such data is established by the Style-level record — solid or stranded conductor availability does not by itself establish a flexible-cable classification.

Individual UL Core Recognition vs Complete Cable Assembly

This distinction matters for both procurement and compliance. UL AWM Style 10362 is a single-conductor construction — it is not a multiple-conductor UL Style. A multi-core cable assembled using qualifying UL 10362 core wires is not, by that fact alone, a “UL 10362 multi-core cable” or a “UL-certified multi-conductor cable.” The UL recognition and the 250°C / 600 Vac rating belong to each qualifying individual core wire. The applicable rating, marking, and documentation of the completed multi-core cable depend on the final ordered assembly construction as a whole, and should be confirmed separately from the core-wire specification.

Custom Multi-Core Assembly Requirements

Because the overall assembly is order-specific, useful information to confirm includes whether an overall jacket is required (and its material), whether a binder, filler, or shield is needed, and what the target finished cable outside diameter should be, if applicable. None of these elements are established by the UL 10362 core-wire record, and none are assumed as standard on this page. Conductor material, plating, strand count, and resistance for both the core wires and the overall assembly are confirmed according to the ordered construction rather than published as generic figures. For a multiple-conductor assembly, current-carrying requirements can differ from a single conductor; any current-carrying requirement must be evaluated against the actual conductor material, size, number of loaded conductors, assembly construction, and equipment conditions — we do not publish an ampacity figure on this page.

High-Temperature Internal Wiring

The UL-supported use of qualifying UL 10362 core wires is Internal Wiring. Appropriate application language for this page includes high-temperature internal wiring, protected internal multi-conductor connections, and internal equipment wiring assemblies using qualifying PFA-insulated cores. This page does not position the product as building wire, branch-circuit or field wiring, tray cable, direct-burial or outdoor power cable, portable power cable, aerospace or aircraft cable, automotive cable, EV cable, solar cable, or utility cable, and it does not carry over the previous page’s aerospace, instrumentation, thermocouple, or laboratory-application positioning.

UL Marking and Documentation

Qualifying UL AWM Style 10362 core wires can be supplied through the relevant partner manufacturing scope associated with the applicable UL Recognized Component file on record. UL marking and related documentation depend on the specific qualified core construction ordered, and — as noted above — do not automatically extend to the completed multi-core assembly. Not every configuration automatically carries a UL Mark, and marking requirements should be confirmed when requesting a quotation. RoHS and REACH are separate regulatory frameworks from UL recognition; applicable RoHS / REACH documentation requirements can be confirmed according to the ordered construction.
