UL 1015 PVC Wire — 105°C 600V Appliance Internal Wiring

Product Overview

UL 1015 is a PVC insulated wire rated up to 105°C and 600V AC under UL AWM Style 1015, supplied as a UL Recognized Component — file on record. It is commonly selected for fixed internal wiring in appliances and equipment where a standard 600V PVC AWM wire is required and the operating temperature remains within the selected rating. UL 1015 can be marked for 80°C, 90°C, or 105°C depending on the selected construction; confirm the required temperature marking at time of order.

Selection Notes

UL 1015 is suited to fixed internal wiring in appliances and equipment where a 600V / 750V DC PVC AWM wire is required and the routing is protected within the equipment enclosure. The three available temperature markings (80°C, 90°C, 105°C) allow selection to match the operating temperature at the routing position. An optional oil-resistant grade is available when the design requires it.

For lighter 300V internal wiring, see UL 1007 (80°C / 300V / 32–16 AWG). For higher-temperature XLPE alternatives at the same 600V rating, see UL 3271 (125°C / 600V) or UL 3321 (150°C / 600V). For silicone rubber at 200°C, see UL 3135.

Typical Applications

  • Fixed internal wiring in appliances and OEM equipment enclosures
  • Control panel internal wiring at 600V / 750V DC where PVC AWM is specified
  • Power lead routing inside enclosed appliance housings
  • Motor lead connections in appliances where the terminal temperature remains within the selected rating
  • Internal wiring in electronic equipment where 600V PVC AWM is required
