UL1007 Wire

UL 1007 is a PVC insulated hook-up wire rated 80°C and 300V AC under UL AWM Style 1007, produced under UL Follow-Up Service File No. E333030. It is the most widely used AWM wire style globally — the default specification for general-purpose internal wiring in appliances, consumer electronics, industrial control equipment, and OEM wiring harnesses where the circuit voltage does not exceed 300V AC and the ambient temperature remains within the 80°C continuous rating.

The 300V / 80°C specification of UL 1007 covers the full range of standard low-voltage internal wiring circuits — 24V DC control circuits, 120V AC appliance power leads, 230V AC equipment internal connections — where the 80°C temperature rating is adequate for the application’s ambient conditions. For higher-temperature applications or 600V circuits, see UL 1015. UL 1007 is available in 30 AWG to 4/0 AWG with tinned or bare stranded copper conductor and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
