UL 1911 High Voltage Wire

UL 1911 Wire Ratings and Product Selection

This category groups the available UL Style 1911 products and helps buyers confirm the construction required for their application. UL Style 1911 is a high voltage wire under UL Subject 758, Section 1, rated 250°C at 50,000 V DC maximum, covering 24 AWG to 10 AWG in solid or stranded round construction. Individual ratings depend on the applicable facing page. The stated use is internal wiring of electronic gas ignitor systems.

Because the Style file lists the insulation as any material with details on the facing page, the construction is not fixed at Style level. Reviewing the products below is a starting point; the applicable insulation material, individual voltage rating and full construction must be confirmed before quotation and order.

Construction and Individual Rating Confirmation

The insulation entry in the UL Style 1911 file reads “any material; see facing page for details.” This is a scope statement rather than an availability statement — it does not mean that every insulation material is automatically available, and it does not mean that a particular material can be supplied simply because the Style permits it in principle.

The applicable insulation material and the individual voltage rating both depend on the confirmed facing-page construction. The 50,000 V DC figure is the Style maximum; the rating that applies to a specific product is the one shown on the applicable facing page for that construction, and it may be considerably lower.

Buyers must confirm the required construction before quotation and order. Do not assume that a specific insulation material is available under this Style without a separate confirmed basis for that construction.

Application Boundary

UL Style 1911 is intended for internal wiring of electronic gas ignitor systems.

Final suitability for a particular installation depends on the equipment design, the actual operating temperature, the DC voltage, the current, the routing arrangement, the mechanical protection provided along the routed path, whether the wire is subject to repeated movement, the ordered construction and the final certification requirements applying to the equipment. None of these is established by the Style rating alone.

UL Style 1911 is not supplied or positioned as building wiring, field wiring, general power cable, unrestricted high-voltage equipment wiring, direct flame wiring, open furnace wiring or direct heating-element wiring.

UL Marking and Documentation

CableApex is not the UL file holder. Supply is coordinated through a partner manufacturing scope.

The applicable UL construction, the actual marking and the order documentation must be confirmed before order. Only products bearing the applicable UL Mark should be treated as certified and covered under the corresponding UL Follow-Up Service. Where RoHS, REACH or other documents are required, specify them at quotation stage so availability can be confirmed for the construction being supplied.

Flame-Test Options

The UL Style 1911 source rating is Horizontal flame. FT-1 or VW-1 testing can be discussed for a confirmed construction or an agreed order requirement.

Full ranges are available under UL 3239, UL 3304, UL 3573 and the High Voltage Wire parent category. Selection between Styles should follow the voltage form and level, the required construction and the equipment design rather than a single rating figure.
